Pinnacle’s PAC 18 McKay Pairs an Unbeaten Record with Standout Performances

Your Closer Look at Pinnacle’s Unbeaten 18U Team

Pinnacle’s PAC 18 McKay has put together a strong stretch of boys volleyball, combining straight-set victories with wins in three-set matches. For parents following the 18U team, the results offer plenty to celebrate, while individual performances provide a closer look at how those wins came together.

The team’s AIM+ snapshot lists PAC with a 5–0 match record and a 6.33 point differential per set. Match reports from October 10–11 show the team finding different ways to finish, from responding after an opening-set loss to creating separation in a decisive second set.

On October 10, PAC earned a 2–1 victory over Vegas Aces 18-1. After taking the opening set 25–12, PAC dropped the second 22–25 before closing out the match with a 15–8 third-set win.

The following morning brought another three-set test against Pulse 17-Lila. PAC fell 21–25 in the opener, then responded with a 25–15 second-set victory and a 15–12 finish in the deciding set. The comeback added another win while showing the team’s ability to recover after falling behind.

PAC followed that result with a 2–0 victory over PAC 17 Amado, winning 25–21 and 25–6. Later on October 11, the team added another straight-set win against 118 18-Aaron, taking the match 25–14 and 25–20.

Individual contributions have also played an important role in PAC’s success, with Daniel Booker and Benjamin Panzica delivering notable performances.

Daniel Booker Delivers on the Attack

Daniel Booker recorded 33 kills across the four featured matches, providing consistent offensive production throughout the weekend.

Against Vegas Aces, Booker finished with nine kills and just one attack error on 15 attempts, posting a .533 hitting percentage. He followed that performance with 11 kills, four digs and a .450 hitting percentage in the comeback win over Pulse.

Booker also contributed six kills against PAC 17 Amado and seven against 118 18-Aaron. His production gave PAC a reliable attacking option in both its three-set battles and straight-set victories.

Benjamin Panzica Helps Set Up the Offense

Benjamin Panzica’s setting contributions were another part of PAC’s success. He recorded 29 assists in the three-set win over Pulse, helping support an offense that featured Booker’s 11 kills, Easton Ebmeyer’s 10 and Wesley White’s eight.

Panzica also finished with 22 assists and five digs against Vegas Aces. In the straight-set win over 118 18-Aaron, he added 24 assists and six digs, contributing to the attack while helping keep rallies alive.

Together, those performances show how PAC’s results have been supported by contributions across the court. From efficient attacking to setting and defense, the team found multiple ways to produce during its October matches.
