Behind the Scenes with Bella:

Bella attends Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Ohio, where her volleyball journey has already produced memorable milestones. She has been playing volleyball for six years, but one moment stands above the rest: her freshman year on varsity, when her team won their first tournament game against rival Hilliard Davidson. That same season, she recorded an impressive 550 assists, earning recognition from her teammates, coaches, and fellow competitors.

McKnight’s Player Profile
At the heart of Bella's journey is her mom. Her mother has been her club volleyball coach since Bella was just 8 years old, and has been a constant source of strength, guidance, and support every step of the way. Bella shared, "She is the example of never giving up. She has taught me everything I know and I am so grateful for her." It is that foundation of hard work that has shaped Bella into the player and person she is today.

Bella also draws inspiration from star MLV setter, Mia Tuaniga, whose game she admires deeply. Mia motivates her to keep pushing with the mindset that height isn't everything, a reminder she carries with her every time she steps on the court.

Words of Advice:

Bella’s piece of advice for the next generation is to never stop working towards your goals because you never know when all that hard work is going to pay off. She quoted, “Volleyball is fun! Let it be fun and something that you love doing! You’ve got this and never give up on your goals.”
