Clark, an 18old outside hitter from Palisades, CA is making his presence felt at the SoCal Cup this season. In the 27 games he’s played thus far he’s posted impressive numbers.

Behind the Scenes with Vance Clark:
Clark is from Palisades, California where he attends Palisades Charter High School. A four year starter, and now a senior, Clark is a leader on his high school team. Clark plays middle blocker and outside hitter. Whether it’s a crucial block at the net or a big play from the outside, Clark impacts every aspect of the game.
Clark first picked up a volleyball during his freshman year and never looked back. After earning Most Improved Player honors, he dedicated himself to refining his craft year after year, transforming into the player he is today.
His intensity on the court starts long before his first serve. Vance’s go-to pregame song is “H.” by Tool, and the fierce energy of the music reflects the intensity he brings to every set. That same disciplined mindset carries into his routine as well. Before each match, he fuels up with a Peanut Butter Clif Protein Bar, showcasing his consistency and commitment to preparation.
Outside of volleyball, he feels just as comfortable on the water as he does on the hardwood. He is a great surfer and loves the balance of both sports. If given the chance, his dream surf vacation would be the world class waves of Bali.
