As the 2025–26 club season comes to a close, these five finished at the top of the AIM+ 17U Boys Leaderboard.
The ranking is based on AIM+ Score — a straightforward look at how much a player produced and how efficiently they did it across attacking, serving, setting, blocking and defense. It’s built from verified match data at events like SoCal Cup, Nike Circuit and JVA.
Below is the current Top 5:
1. Eli Boyer, Academy 17O Under Armour. AIM+ Score: 41.00
Boyer earned the top position after recording six kills on seven attack attempts in one set. With only one attack error, he posted a .714 hitting percentage, the highest among the Top 5. He also added one dig and six total points, making an immediate impact in a limited amount of playing time.
2. Cade Feyler, Central Cal 17 Jay. AIM+ Score: 34.60
Feyler delivered a strong all-around performance across 15 sets, recording 62 kills, 11 service aces, 66 receptions and 35 digs. He finished with 76 total points, the highest among the Top 5, while posting a .400 hitting percentage. His ability to contribute offensively, from the service line and in the back row helped him secure the second position.
3. Julian Josephs, Venom Black Mambas. AIM+ Score: 34.00
Josephs recorded 55 kills, six service aces, 59 receptions and 22 digs through 11 sets. He also added three solo blocks and one block assist while finishing with 64 total points. His .382 hitting percentage reflects his ability to produce efficiently while remaining involved in several areas of the game.
4. Bryce Thistlethwaite, Adversity VBC 17 Adidas. AIM+ Score: 31.46
Thistlethwaite contributed on both sides of the ball with 44 kills, six service aces and 23 digs across 13 sets. He was also a consistent presence at the net, recording eight solo blocks and two block assists. With 58 total points and a .320 hitting percentage, his production helped him earn the fourth spot on the leaderboard.
5. Davison Gotwals, SynergyForce B 17-1 National. AIM+ Score: 30.63
Gotwals displayed his versatility throughout 19 sets, finishing with 39 kills, 90 assists, 11 service aces and 29 digs. He also recorded 15 solo blocks and three block assists while totaling 65 points. His ability to set, attack, serve, block and defend allowed him to make an impact across nearly every major statistical category.
